Week 2: Langwitches Blog
I found a neat article about iPads in classrooms and basically got stuck on that because it was so fascinating. It talked about how there are much more benefits to having children use iPads in the classroom. I currently do not know much about iPads (still have a PC), so it intrigues me to hear about kids using them. There is an article written by Ben Johnson that explains why iPads are more than just letting kids play with apps. It is a tool for students to learn in different ways.
Using iPads in my classroom is definitely something I hope to be a part of. Nowadays, kids know how to use them and that can be beneficial when using them for a lesson. Instead of trying to figure out how you are going to teach a lesson, the iPad allows the student to explore and learn in a different style.
